Training in Nuuk

From 26.09.- 30.09. 2022. teachers where at the University of Nuuk, where they had a three-day training as part of the Give value to nature project. The subject of the seminar was the Arctic ecosystem and the Anthropocene in Greenland.
Local scientists gave a general description of the ecosystem in Greenland and the way of life in the Anthropocene. They pointed out the importance of self-sustainability for local regions and introduced us to the dangers of ecosystem changes in Greenland.
The teachers also gained insight into teaching strategies about anthropocenia and changes in ecosystems that should be introduced and taught at the school and university level, as well as the importance of making the population aware of these changes and the dangers they bring
